Classroom Expectations
PROMPT: At the beginning of class students are to be in their seats before the bell rings.
PREPARED: Come to class with all necessary materials needed to participate in the activities of the day.
POLITE: All persons in the classroom are to be treated with common courtesy and no words or actions intended to cause anyone harm will be allowed.
PRODUCTIVE: Follow directions and utilize class time to get work done!
POSITIVE: Come with a positive attitude each day, anticipating new learning experiences.
Grading Categories
Homework & Daily Assignments 20%
Recorded Score Homework completion/accuracy
3 88% +
2 66% +
1 30% +
0 <20%
Quizzes 30%
Test & Projects 50%
**Do not expect to study/cram the night before a test; that is too late! Prepare now, by staying caught up with assignments and asking questions for advanced understanding.
You may correct two tests during the semester to earn back 50% of the points you missed. Tests must be corrected within 1 full week of when I return it to you.
The Semester Final will be cumulative and consist of a variety of question modes including multiple-choice, open-ended, and short answer.
